Key Account Manager Continental ContiTech

Scott joined the Engineered Products Division of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in June 1983 and has continued with the company thru the sale of the Engineered Products Division to Continental ContiTech in 2015. He started as a Customer Service Representative, and during the last 40 years has risen thru a succession of positions, including Territory Manager, Marketing Representative, Marketing Manager and Technical Manager. Scott assumed his current role as Key Account Manager in June, 2018.

As Key Account Manager, Scott is responsible for management of Continental’s largest distributor partner in North America, Applied Industrial Products. Scott and his team manage sales, margin, product planning, marketing support, team engagement, revenue, and strategic planning, with the ultimate goal of helping Applied Industrial Products grow their business. During his career, Scott has worked with other large accounts such as Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, Advance Auto Parts, Praxair and others.

Scott received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sales & Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, OH. He brings a history of strong sales growth during periods of economic growth and recession. He has been happily married to his wife for 40 years, and currently resides in Cincinnati, OH..
