Head of Business Programs (The Americas) Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)

Phil plays a key role in the development of CIPS business in the Americas. His main role is to ensure that CIPS provides its corporate and public sector customers with products and services that help them develop and improve their procurement and supply team’s capability and performance. Phil is responsible for ensuring that CIPS responds to the increasing demands from existing Americas-based customers as they address an ever-changing global economy, and engages with new customers as they seek to ensure their procurement and supply people have the competency and understanding to improve procurement’s contribution to overall business performance.

Prior to joining CIPS Phil gathered over 20 years’ experience managing and delivering profitable international publishing and media projects. In the last few years Phil has been responsible for CIPS’ corporate People and Process development programmes serving the international energy and oil & gas sectors with major programmes supporting the oil & gas industry across the UK and Norwegian continental shelves, and in North Africa and the Middle East.

Phil frequently presents at procurement and supply conferences and works to grow CIPS membership and increase the number of people studying for CIPS’ internationally respected certifications.
