Director - Strategic Accounts Applied Industrial Technologies

Darrell joined Applied® in June 1997 as an Account Manager – and rose through a succession of positions, including Service Center Manager, Industry Manager – Forest Products and Strategic Account Manager. Darrell was promoted to Director – Strategic Accounts in June 2012.

As Director – Strategic Accounts, Darrell oversees the implementation and management of customer agreements. He also oversees and assists with customer interaction from the local Applied service center to the national strategic account. Key areas of focus include sales, customer service and associate development.

Prior to joining Applied, Darrell served in the U.S. Army as Command Sergeant Major – the highest enlisted rank, just above first sergeant and master sergeant. While on his college education program through the Military, he served as Purchasing Agent and Project Engineer at Vulcan Foundry/East Jordan Iron Works. Vulcan Foundry was one of the first semi-automated construction casting producers in the south that was purchased by East Jordan Ironworks in 1995.

Darrell received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Southeastern Louisiana University. He brings a broad range of capabilities and experience to Applied as a seasoned business and sales leader with strong leadership acumen.
